A Teacher's Desire to Help Students Doesn't End With Retirement

Martin Stacy, a retired Tarrant County College faculty member, decided to give back through a bequest in his will to the Tarrant County College Foundation that will one day benefit TCC students. Mr. Stacy reflects on his years at TCC, "I feel I owe a lot to TCC and the people there because they were good to me all those years. I saw a lot of students struggling -- one woman was a mother taking 21 credit hours and working three jobs. If a student needs help, well, I would love to help them." Mr. Stacy is now a member of the Trailblazer Society which is made up of individuals who include Tarrant County College Foundation in their estate plans.
